Who we are
This website is run by Púca Scans Ltd, registered in Ireland under company number 735775, with its registered office at 10 Main Street, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@pucascans.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, production or company, dates, location and your message.
We don't use cookies, analytics, advertising tags or any other tracking on this site. The fonts and code the site needs are served from our own host, so your browser doesn't contact third parties such as Google when you visit.
Like any website, our host keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, such as IP address, browser type and time, to keep the site secure and running.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to reply to you, discuss your project and prepare a quote. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We don't sell your details, use them for marketing lists or make automated decisions about you.
Who else handles it
Two service providers process data on our behalf, under data processing terms with us:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the website and receives form submissions.
- Google Ireland Limited provides our email (Google Workspace), where enquiries arrive.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards in their data processing terms, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn't lead to work, we delete it within 24 months. If it does, we keep the correspondence with our project records for as long as we need to for legal, accounting and tax purposes, normally six years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to our use of it. Email info@pucascans.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Scans
This notice covers the website. Scans and images captured on a production are handled under separate agreements with the production and the people being scanned.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
